The Unbearable Weight of Nothing, Part 1

I thought I had many years to

prepare for your major questions:

Where do babies come from?

What is the meaning of life?

Dad, may I use the car tonight?

But at four years old you asked this:

Are adults scared of anything?

And I had no answer.

  1. I had to think about this!

My first though was that of course we are, but then thought that our children (at such a tender age) perhaps need to think we are invincible and thus are able to protect and keep them safe...
